Job SummaryPerforms diagnostic imaging in two or more modalities, following radiologist's protocols for evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Provides radiologist with pertinent clinical information. Demonstrates complete working knowledge of the modalities and related equipment. Performs routine protocols and positions patients correctly using appropriate equipment. Participates in the quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested. Performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems. Meets departmental performance expectations and Customer Service Standards of Excellence.EXPERIENCE:Two (2) years' experience performing multi-modality functions as a technologist preferred.EDUCATION:Graduate of accredited program in radiologic technologyAssociate's Degree preferred REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:Accredited program in radiologic technology, ARRT registered and certified in any of the working modalities, Florida license, BLS certification.CT certification within 6 months of obtaining the position as a condition of employment. Position Summary: Deliver weekly art classes to groups of children in an after-school setting at different schools.Compensation: $40.00 per class hour.About the OrganizationKE Art for Kids has been creating meaningful art experiences for children since 2017. Founded by Karen Esther, a Montessori educator and art teacher, KE Art provides after-school art classes at different locations throughout Miami.<ul><li>Our Mission: To create meaningful art experiences for children. </li><li>Our Vision: To be the number one provider of children's enrichment in Florida. </li><li>Our Values: Nurturing, Creative, Energetic, Kindness, Honesty, & Commitment.</li></ul>Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:<ul><li>Deliver weekly art classes to groups of children after school on site.</li><li>Ensure the safety of all students in your care.</li><li>Provide instruction and modeling on the proper use of various art mediums.</li><li>Prepare all art materials in an organized and timely manner.</li><li>Responsible for classroom set-up and clean-up.</li><li>Keep an enthusiastic and upbeat pace for the hour of class instruction, guiding students into a creative state.</li><li>Attend staff meetings and trainings.</li><li>Manage communication and interactions with all clients, parents, and students in a respectful and professional manner.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum of (2) years of experience teaching children in a group setting.</li><li>Basic drawing and adaptive artistic teaching ability.</li><li>Strong classroom management skills.</li><li>Reliable mode of transportation.</li><li>Available during after-school hours.</li><li>Independently motivated (i.e., self-starter) and accountable for classes from start to finish.</li><li>Creative and patient problem-solver with a can-do, positive attitude.</li><li>A team-player who acts with integrity by honoring all time commitments, company guidelines, and procedures.</li><li>Above-all, someone who embodies the KE Art values and culture.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Engagement or involvement in art.<ul><li>Such as your own work, art education/knowledge, teaching or volunteer work.</li></ul></li></ul>If you are interested in creating meaningful art experiences for children we would love to hear from you!
