In this role, the packer will perform a variety of repetitive operations to package Company product prior to shipping. This is a fast paced position working in a fun, clean and high energy department!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>100% inspects work pieces for cosmetic appearance and obvious non-conformities.</li><li>Sort, process and assemble small components.</li><li>Place wrapped parts in appropriate packaging.</li><li>Responsible for cleanliness of work area and the general housekeeping of the Company.</li><li>Reports any unsafe conditions to Supervisor/Management.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>EXPERIENCE: <ul><li>High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED).PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.   The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally required to walk, sit, kneel, crouch, or crawl.   The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.   The noise level is usually moderate.  </li><li>The employee is required to wear safety glasses, earplugs and safety shoes.</li></ul>

This would include transfers, ambulation, ROM, splint application, positioning, sit stand lifts, Hoyer lifts, and whirlpool.</li><li>Develops professional relationships with a wide range of residents, family members, co-workers and supervisors which allows open communication based on mutual respect.</li><li>Assists with assessments and treatment procedures as defined by the State Nursing Practice Act and facility policy to include: TPR’s, BP’s, weights, specimen collection, skin care, O2 stats and O2.</li><li>Follows Infection Control guidelines including Standard Precautions, handling of Biohazadous materials and isolation techniques. </li><li>Is familiar with and assists with care protocols including falls prevention, safety and elopement, behavior management, skin integrity and bowel and bladder management. Provides assistance/oversight with all nutritional and hydration needs.</li><li>Accepts resident assignment and direction from the Nurse Leader. Observes and reports to the nurse any change in physical or mental function. Demonstrates awareness of shared responsibilities for resident care needs and contributes to the general care and order of the resident rooms, belongings and common areas.
