Our commercial division, Atlantic Wind Transfers, supports offshore wind projects along the East Coast with advanced crew transfer vessels.We're a close-knit, high-energy team that takes pride in safe, reliable operations. Our crews work in fast-paced environments where teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude go a long way.<h3>The Role</h3>Atlantic Wind Transfers is seeking a Captain to operate our offshore wind Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) out of Little Creek, VA. This is a full-time, non-rotational position—candidates must be based locally or willing to relocate. Housing is not provided.As Captain, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of high-speed crew transfer catamarans supporting offshore wind farm operations. You'll lead your crew, manage day-to-day vessel operations, and serve as the point person onboard, with full support from our shoreside team.<h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul><li>Safely operate high-speed, waterjet-driven crew transfer vessels</li><li>Lead and manage onboard crew in a professional, team-oriented environment</li><li>Oversee day-to-day vessel operations, maintenance, and readiness</li><li>Ensure compliance with all company safety, security, and operational procedures</li><li>Deliver a high standard of service to offshore wind clients and personnel</li><li>Maintain vessel logs, reporting, and administrative responsibilities</li><li>Take ownership of all onboard activity and decision-making</li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><ul><li>USCG Master's License (100 GRT or greater)</li><li>Radar Observer (Unlimited)</li><li>First Aid / CPR / AED certification</li><li>Strong radar and vessel handling experience</li><li>Experience operating high-speed, waterjet-driven catamarans</li><li>Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform daily vessel maintenance</li><li>STCW Basic Training (preferred)</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills</li></ul><h3>Why Join Us</h3><ul><li>Work on modern, high-performance vessels in the offshore wind industry</li><li>Be part of a tight-knit, motivated crew that values teamwork and professionalism</li><li>Fast-paced, hands-on role with real responsibility and autonomy</li><li>Opportunities to grow with a company operating at the forefront of maritime and renewable energy</li></ul><h3>Compensation</h3>Competitive pay based on experience (DOE)
