This role involves working from blueprints and weld symbols to produce high-quality welds that meet structural and cosmetic standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fabrication or manufacturing environment. </p><p><strong>Job Duties: </strong></p><p> </p><ul><li><div>Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and other metals according to specifications</div></li><li><div>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and basic weld symbols</div></li><li><div>Set up welding equipment, select proper filler materials, and adjust settings as needed</div></li><li><div>Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and fitting components</div></li><li><div>Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and appearance standards</div></li><li><div>Perform minor weld repairs or rework as required</div></li><li><div>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area</div></li><li><div>Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards</div></li><li><div>Collaborate with fabrication, machining, and assembly teams as needed</div></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p><p> </p><ul><li><div>Proven experience with MIG and TIG welding</div></li><li><div>Experience welding stainless steel required; experience with aluminum and carbon steel preferred</div></li><li><div>Ability to read blueprints and work instructions</div></li><li><div>Familiarity with measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, gauges)</div></li><li><div>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality</div></li><li><div>Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a shop environment</div></li></ul><div><div><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></div><ul><li><div>Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)</div></li><li><div>Experience with structural, cosmetic, or precision welding</div></li><li><div>Basic fabrication skills (cutting, grinding, fitting)</div></li><li><div>Experience working in a manufacturing or custom fabrication setting</div></li></ul></div><p><br/><strong><em>Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information. </em></strong></p></div></div>
