WakeMed North is one of the three full-service hospital locations of WakeMed’s 941-bed hospital system, which comprises a network of facilities throughout the triangle area, including seven emergency departments, a dedicated children’s hospital and rehabilitation hospital, more than 90 physician ambulatory offices. At WakeMed North, SAAs provide coverage in a small but busy hospital with casework including general, orthopedics (including spine and cervical), gynecology and obstetrics, some endocrinology, podiatry, healthy pediatrics, thoracic, robotic procedures, and ENT.
