IAVI is seeking a Veterinary Technician responsible for handling research animals, including rodents, rabbits, and non-human primates, and performing animal procedures such as anesthesia administration and monitoring, compound administration, blood collection, tissue collection, health observations, and medical record maintenance . Because preclinical studies are designed to evaluate experimental vaccines, the Technician will work with live and/or attenuated viruses and specimens from infected animals under BSL-2+ containment conditions, following applicable biosafety procedures and institutional requirements.
