We're grounded in scripture and guided by our values, so check out our website (<a href="http://www.elevationchurch.org" rel="nofollow">www.elevationchurch.org</a>) to be sure you're aligned before you step into the application process with us, particularly paying attention to our Beliefs and our Code.</p><p/><h1>RESPONSIBILITIES</h1><ul><li>Create high-quality designs for weekend experiences, sermon series, digital content, social media, and special projects</li><li>Collaborate with the Creative Director, writers, and programming teams to develop strong visual concepts that communicate messages clearly and creatively</li><li>Help lead the design direction for campaigns and series—contributing to concept development, look and feel, and execution</li><li>Maintain and elevate the visual standards of the church's brand across all platforms</li><li>Execute designs across multiple formats (broadcast, social, web, print, environmental) with excellence and consistency</li><li>Provide creative feedback and direction to other designers and freelancers</li><li>Partner with video teams, animators, and other creatives to bring cohesive, multi-platform experiences to life</li><li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Prepare and deliver final files for production across various media</li></ul><h1>MUST-HAVES</h1><ul><li>Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)</li><li>Strong portfolio demonstrating a high level of design, typography, and layout expertise</li><li>Proven ability to lead design projects and contribute to creative direction</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)</li><li>Strong understanding of branding, visual systems, and storytelling through design</li><li>Ability to operate with both creative vision and executional excellence</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams</li><li>High attention to detail with a commitment to excellence</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment</li></ul><h1>NICE-TO-HAVES</h1><ul><li>Experience working in a non-profit environment or ministry setting </li><li>Knowledge of motion design or animation</li><li>Experience designing for broadcast or large-scale environments</li><li>Familiarity with social media trends and digital-first design strategies</li><li>Experience working with AI-assisted design tools</li></ul><h1>DAY-TO-DAY					</h1><ul><li>We're a <strong>Sunday-Thursday work environment</strong>. Monday-Thursday, we're in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we're supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses.</li><li>There's a lot to accomplish each week, so we're pretty fast-paced. We're also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - <strong>adaptability is a key</strong> competence for us.</li><li>Yes, we work hard. But we're good at playing hard, too. We're a creative staff, so there's no shortage of activities around our offices to <strong>have some fun</strong>!</li><li>You can't help but grow on our staff.
