CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Must be registered with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), or must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) with the advanced ARRT registry in MRI or registry eligible. GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision, performs magnetic resonance imaging studies using a magnetic resonance imaging device, which includes preparing patients, positioning, setting imaging parameters, and performing computer processing and displaying images.
