The fully integrated network is comprised of PIH Health Downey Hospital, PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital, PIH Health Whittier Hospital, 37 outpatient medical office buildings, a multispecialty medical (physician) group, home healthcare services and hospice care, as well as heart, cancer, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s health, urgent care and emergency services. Assists the laboratory manager/director in the management of the assigned laboratory department(s) and its staff and day-to-day operations; this includes, but is not limited to, process improvement, Technical Procedure revision, staff scheduling, interview process, staff performance review, coaching, training, competency development and assessment; employee relation issues; department compliance; policy and regulatory compliance; and Quality Assurance/Improvement.
