Job Overview Title: Aerospace Packager - 2nd Shift Reports to: Production Managers (Value Stream or Shift) Location: Kent, WA Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt (hourly) Schedule: 2nd Shift Hytek production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday - Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.) Employees in this position will package a variety of parts that have been processed through our plating and other departments in preparation for shipping to our customers. Packagers may be required to join the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program*. The Anodize Operators perform operations in accordance with Military, Industry and OEM specifications. * FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program requires an initial drug test including a screen for THC, subject to quarterly Drug & BAT testing. Responsibilities <ul><li>Work closely with experienced Packagers to complete work and prioritize tasks for On-Time delivery. </li><li>Follow technique card, customer Purchase Orders and drawings, and instructions from experienced Packagers. </li><li>Perform Part Mark activities as required.</li><li>Develop and understand technique cards.</li><li>Legibly sign off on work once completed.</li><li>General review of paperwork and Operator Self Verification inspection of job to ensure all previous operations were completed. Notify supervisor and Quality Assurance if any errors.</li><li>Operate Forklift as required.</li><li>Knowledge of pre and post cleaning surface finish requirements.</li><li>Familiar with Quality Assurance requirements & rework procedures.</li><li>Be familiar with engineering drawing notations.</li><li>Be familiar with the safety precautions & know how to avoid injury to personnel.</li><li>Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to drive positive change in productivity, delivery, and service.
