<p>The Electrician Apprentice assists in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment under the supervision of a licensed electrician. This role involves working with various electrical tools and materials, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards. The apprentice will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving within industrial settings, contributing to the efficient operation of electrical systems.</p><h3>Duties/Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment</li><li>Measure, cutting, bending, threading, assembling and installation of conduit raceways</li><li>Assist in maintaining tools and games boxes in neat, orderly fashion</li><li>Manage material inventory and storage</li><li>Utilize various electrical tools and materials</li><li>Interpret and follow blueprints</li><li>Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><h3>Required Skills/Abilities:</h3><ul><li>Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring techniques</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints</li><li>Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in electrical work</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team</li><li>Ability to work in various environmental conditions</li></ul><h3>Education/Experience:</h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry</li><li>Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the electrical trade</li><li>Basic math skills (multiplication, addition, subtraction and division) and ability to read a tape measure</li><li>OSHA 10-hour certification preferred</li></ul><h3>Travel Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Anticipated 100% travel to project sites nationwide</li><li>Ability to travel occasionally to attend meetings, trainings, and events.</li></ul><h3>Physical Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Ability to wear and utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE)</li><li>Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time  </li><li>Bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods  </li><li>Ability to perform repetitive movements   </li><li>Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas   </li><li>Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to and exceeding 50 pounds  </li><li>Adequate vision to perform all required tasks   </li><li>Work on ladders, scaffolding, and rooftops  </li><li>Comfortable with heights and able to climb and descend safely  </li><li>Strong sense of balance and spatial awareness  </li><li>Participate in respiratory fit testing and use as required </li></ul><p> </p><h4><strong>About Stellar: </strong></h4><p>Stellar offers a comprehensive package which includes:</p><ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience</li><li>Remote & hybrid work options for many positions</li><li>Paid Time Off – accrue 15 days (120 hours) within first year of service</li><li>Paid holidays</li><li>Medical,  dental, and vision insurance options</li><li>Tax-advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA, Dependent Care FSA)</li><li>Company-paid life and disability insurance</li><li>401(k) – company match with immediate vesting</li></ul><p> </p><p>Stellar, headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, is a fully integrated firm focusing on design, construction, architecture, engineering, and mechanical services worldwide for over 30 years.
