Repair, re-commission and/or replace equipment associated with steam generating and distribution (boilers, pumps, and lines), systems controls (electronic and pneumatic), emergency generators and transfer equipment, air conditioning (cooling towers, chillers, and fans), computerized energy management and other systems as directed. The employee is directly exposed to the following hazards in the work environment: animals, moving machinery, blood borne pathogens, chemicals, commercial cleaning solvents and oils, confined space entry and / or restricted access, excessive noise, fumes, dust, pesticides or herbicides, radioactive materials, and repetitive motion.
