The HVAC Service Technician performs maintenance and service repairs on refrigeration and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on the following types of HVAC systems: Low Temperature Refrigeration Systems.

Senior HVAC Service Technician- $35-$45/hourPOSITION SUMMARY:Air Force One is looking for an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician with 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience. The HVAC Service Technician performs maintenance and service repairs on refrigeration and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Apprenticeship and/or formal training in HVAC preferred</li><li>5+ years of commercial HVAC experience preferred</li><li>Universal EPA Certification required</li><li>OSHA certification</li><li>Valid driver’s license and clean driving record</li><li>Clean background check</li></ul>REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Provide maximum customer service and professional communication to all associates and customers.</li><li>Effectively communicate with clients and team members.</li><li>Working knowledge of temperature/pressure chart.</li><li>Read thermometers and gauges, records readings.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital signals.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on the following types of HVAC systems:<ul><li>Exhaust Fans</li><li>Circulating Pumps</li><li>Unit Heaters</li><li>VAV Boxes</li><li>Split Systems 1 thru 5 Ton 1 PH</li><li>Package Units 1 thru 5 Ton 1 PH</li><li>Systems with scroll and sealed hermetic compressors</li><li>Single phase & three phase motors</li><li>Heating systems with atmospheric burners and induced draft motors</li><li>All residential type furnaces</li><li>Medium temperature refrigeration systems</li><li>Cooling towers</li><li>Direct and indirect fired makeup air units</li><li>Built -up Air Handlers</li><li>Variable frequency drives</li><li>Ductless split systems</li></ul>PREFERRED RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on the following types of HVAC systems:<ul><li>Low Temperature Refrigeration Systems</li><li>Boiler Systems-Low Pressure Hydronic & Steam</li><li>Boiler Systems with Power Burners</li><li>Air Cooled Chiller</li><li>Rotary-Screw Compressors</li><li>Pneumatics Air Compressors and Systems</li></ul>Air Force One has been named Top Workplace by Columbus CEO Magazine for the 4th year in a row in 2024!! <pre>POSITION SUMMARY:</pre>Air Force One is looking for an experienced commercial Service Technician with more than 3 years of commercial HVAC experience. The HVAC Service Technician performs maintenance and service repairs on refrigeration and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
