Our Company offers competitive pay and an outstanding benefits package for candidates who are ready to Join Our Team and grow with us!JOB DETAILSBridgefield Electric is actively recruiting for traveling and non-traveling APPRENTICE I and APPRENTICE II ELECTRICIANS who will perform the following job duties under the direct supervision a qualified electrician:<ul><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance, of electrical systems </li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Able to learn and/or assist in identifying and diagnosing electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and techniques</li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Able to learn and/or assist is bending and threading cable runs and basic installations compliant with NEC</li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Able to learn and/or assist in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics</li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Able to learn and/or test electrical systems to ensure proper and safe functioning</li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Supports in the maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and modifications of electrical equipment and systems </li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Ensure the work area and equipment is kept clean and safe </li><li style="line-height:normal;background:#ffffff">Must maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet state regulations</li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Additional duties may be assigned based upon job specific needs</li></ul>REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES<ul><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Strong aptitude and interest in electrical systems</li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Basic understanding of electrical concepts and tools </li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Possess above average problem solving skills</li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Willingness to learn and develop industry specific </li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">High regard to performing work safely with respect to others including property and individual safety</li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Must be able to communicate and work effectively as a team</li></ul>The Following Qualifications is Required:<ul><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">1+ Years of Industrial Electrical Experience </li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">Valid Texas Apprentice License</li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">TWIC (for applicable sites)</li><li style="line-height:115%;background:#ffffff">ISTC Basic + (or similar Safety Council) </li></ul>Benefits OfferedMedical, Dental, Vision, AFLAC Supplemental Policies, 401k with Company Match

Our project portfolio spans retail, K–12 and higher education, medical and research facilities, multi-family housing, hospitality, mixed-use developments, municipal buildings, and more.Position OverviewWe are hiring Commercial Electricians at both the apprentice and journeyman level for full-time work across active commercial construction and tenant improvement projects throughout Southern California. Project environments include retail spaces, condominiums and multi-family residential, K–12 schools, hospitals, and other institutional settings. Whether you are building your skills or bringing years of field experience, this is a team that invests in its people and runs organized, well-managed projects. State licensure is not required to apply, though it is viewed favorably.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across commercial environments including retail, multi-family, educational, and healthcare facilities</li><li>Perform new construction, retrofit, and tenant improvement electrical work</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications</li><li>Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues accurately and efficiently</li><li>Ensure all work meets NEC standards, local building codes, and jobsite safety requirements</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to keep work on schedule and on budget</li><li>Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used</li><li>Contribute to a professional, safety-first jobsite culture</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Apprentice level: Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program, or equivalent hands-on commercial field experience</li><li>Journeyman level: Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical field experience</li><li>Working knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical codes</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li><li>Reliable transportation, hand tools, and full PPE</li><li>Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment</li><li>Availability to work flexible hours or occasional weekends as project demands require</li><li>California state electrician license or certification is a plus but not required</li></ul>Benefits and Compensation<ul><li>Pay: $28–$38 per hour depending on experience and qualifications</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Career advancement opportunities — we actively promote from within and offer ongoing education and foreman development programs throughout the year</li></ul>Why Work With UsAs an employee-owned company, accountability is a shared responsibility at every level.
