This role averages 3-5 hours per month and is ideal for early-career marketers, creators, or community-minded professionals who want paid experience, portfolio-building work, and access to longer-term freelance opportunities, all while being supported through structured training and mentorship. This role is paired with our state-accredited Digital Marketing Apprenticeship Program, which provides hands-on learning, certifications, and career pathways beyond this specific role. What You’ll Contribute: This role focuses on authentic engagement and brand advocacy. Social Activation Team Members support CDL’s presence by: <ul><li>Participating in relevant conversations within marketing and creator communities</li><li>Sharing CDL resources in appropriate groups and spaces</li><li>Representing CDL through thoughtful, organic commentary and personal social activity</li><li>Supporting engagement on CDL, partner, and client accounts</li></ul>This role prioritizes real interaction over scripted promotion — your voice and perspective matter. You’re a Good Fit If You: <ul><li>Enjoy engaging on social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)</li><li>Are comfortable posting from personal social accounts (priority over burner accounts)</li><li>Communicate clearly and reliably in a remote environment</li><li>Are organized and able to submit proof of work using tools like Monday.com and Slack</li><li>Are based in California (required for apprenticeship eligibility)</li><li>Are interested in growing a long-term career in digital marketing</li></ul>Compensation & Time Commitment: <ul><li>$18–23/hr for paid Social Activation work (based on experience)</li><li>3–5 hours per month for paid engagement activities</li><li>Fully remote and flexible</li></ul>Apprenticeship Program (Required) Participation in this role requires enrollment in the Clear Digital Labs Apprenticeship Program. The apprenticeship portion is unpaid and separate from the paid Social Activation work. It is designed to provide structured training, mentorship, and long-term career development beyond this specific role. The apprenticeship includes: <ul><li>Unpaid, part-time training (approximately 3 hours per week)</li><li>Mentorship from experienced digital marketing professionals</li><li>Portfolio-building projects and hands-on learning</li><li>Industry-recognized certifications</li><li>Skill development across digital marketing disciplines, including social media, SEO, analytics, paid ads, branding, and marketing strategy.</li></ul>Paid Social Activation work is scoped separately and compensated independently from the apprenticeship training. As an Automotive Technician Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians and service professionals while developing the technical knowledge and practical skills necessary to diagnose, service, and repair Kia vehicles. This position is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), a structured apprenticeship program created by Kia America to help Military Veterans transition into the automotive industry.

Kearny Mesa Kia in San Diego, CA, is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience who are interested in beginning a rewarding career as an Automotive Service Technician.This position is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), a structured apprenticeship program created by Kia America to help Military Veterans transition into the automotive industry. Through this program, participants gain hands-on dealership experience while completing a one-year competency-based apprenticeship that leads to Kia Service Technician certification.VTAP provides Veterans the opportunity to work full-time at a participating Kia dealership while receiving the training, tools, and support needed to develop into highly skilled automotive technicians. The program is GI Bill® approved, allowing eligible Veterans to receive Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) during their apprenticeship.As an Automotive Technician Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians and service professionals while developing the technical knowledge and practical skills necessary to diagnose, service, and repair Kia vehicles.<h3>Job Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems</li><li>Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs using Kia diagnostic procedures and equipment</li><li>Complete repair orders and warranty documentation according to Kia and dealership policies</li><li>Test drive vehicles and verify repair quality using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment</li><li>Communicate effectively with service advisors and shop foremen to ensure a positive customer experience</li><li>Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while following dealership safety procedures</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service</li><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record</li><li>Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment</li><li>Willingness to complete background check and drug screening</li></ul> <h3>Preferred Skills (Not Required)  </h3><ul><li>Basic automotive maintenance or repair experience</li><li>Familiarity with diagnostic tools and hand tools</li><li>Experience working with engines, electrical systems, or mechanical equipment</li><li>ASE certifications or technical training (a plus)</li></ul>Benefits<h3>Kia VTAP Apprenticeship Highlights</h3><ul><li>Full-time employment with a participating Kia Retailer</li><li>A program designed specifically for Military Veterans, facilitated by Veterans</li><li>Participation in a one-year, competency-based GI Bill®-approved apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification</li><li>Eligible Veterans may receive a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) through the GI Bill® during the apprenticeship</li></ul>
