<h2>Class A CDL Truck Driver</h2>A driver with a Class A CDL license is a professional who can handle the demands of long-distance driving. This individual is responsible for communicating and coordinating with dispatchers to ensure timely delivery of cargo, while also adhering to applicable traffic laws. The driver must have experience in securing cargo within the vehicle and balancing it correctly to avoid accidents during transit. Furthermore, this driver should maintain a detailed log of their working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations. They should also perform daily maintenance on the truck by refueling, cleaning, and ensuring any mechanical issues are resolved before starting each trip. May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment, and other related duties including, but not limited to, pre-trips, logs, and operating a stock truck.

<div>Rockydale Quarries Corporation, an established aggregate producer for Virginia, is seeking a CDL Truck Driver (Class B) for our Roanoke and Glade Hill locations.</div> 
Candidate must be able to operate a tandem-rear axle truck that may have auxiliary or pony axle assembly for transporting construction materials. May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment, and other related duties including, but not limited to, pre-trips, logs, and operating a stock truck. 
Requires at least a CDL B with proper endorsement to operate delivery vehicle. This is local deliveries only. 
Must have previous experience of at least two years with similar or same equipment machinery required. High school diploma or GED required. Must possess and be able to provide copy of clean driving record. No overnight travel – shifts may run from 6:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., dependent upon projects, season of year, etc.
