Cross-Team Partnership Work with the architects in domain application teams to explain the proper use of the data platform Review application architectures to verify the usage Architecture Community Serve as the data platform representative in Landmark's architecture community Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent professional experience 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant time spent on data layers including exposure to the following: relational and unstructured data, data virtualization and federation, ETL, lake houses, medallion architectures and data platforms Demonstrated track record of defining architectures at a platform level Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce architectural specifications, decision records, and interface contracts that are precise enough to be implemented and clear enough to be understood by teams that did not write them Demonstrated ability to influence technical peers across teams through the quality of architectural reasoning rather than organizational authority Experience with at least one of AWS and Azure, their database offerings and other services such as object storage, Kubernetes Preferred: Experience with both AWS and Azure native services Background in oil & gas We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and encourage you to apply even if your experience does not match every item in the preferred list.
