Ensure that all vendors used on the property are properly licensed in the appropriate license classification, local business license, insured in accordance with the minimum requirements of the Essex Capital Improvement Policies and Procedures, approved and that all projects must have prior approval in accordance with the Capital & Maintenance Policies and Procedures Limits of Authority and meet all requirements of the property and company. The Project Manager is responsible for the generation of the project scope, solicitation of outside vendor bids, establishing parameters, and appraising those bids for quality conformance to specifications, cost savings, and recommending desirable vendors to the Senior Project Manager of Capital and Maintenance Services as needed.
