Responsible for making thorough analysis and decisions of job details and emergenciesOrganize, lead, and direct Liberty staff and contractors as requiredAssists in creating annual meter reading and weekly lock-off schedulesMaintains and accounts for all tools and equipment and assigned vehiclesFills out all paperwork on daily job safety inspection sheetsPerforms leak repairs, maintains mains, fire hydrants, installation of new services, setting meters, changing out meters, and repairs services as neededCompletes all service orders and paperwork assigned dailyAssists in the preparation and completion of service orders and other paperworkOperates various hand and power tools and mechanical equipment while installing, operating, and repairing mains, services, meters, valves, and fire hydrantsHelps install, tap, re-line, disinfect, test, and connect water mains and appurtenancesInvolved in shutdowns, repairs, disinfects, and restores water service to customers and tests for leaksMay take water quality samplesSafely set up work area traffic controlsRepairs, disinfects, and tests broken water mainsComplies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
