Qualifications: Expressive/ Art Therapist Requirements: • Masters Degree in Art Therapy from accredited college or university, (ATR) Registered Art Therapist preferred • Minimum of two years experience as an Art Therapist in a behavioral health care setting is preferred • Must be available to work evenings and weekends • Must possess advanced knowledge of counseling and therapeutic concepts and methods for determining therapeutic services for psychiatric and chemically dependent clients • Must possess knowledge of the developmental stages of children, adolescents and adults • Certification in CPR required upon hire. Care is given by registered nurses 24 hours a day alongside a quality team composed of psychiatrists, addictionologists, licensed therapists, certified alcohol and drug counselors, activity therapists, mental health techs and teachers.
