To develop and utilize in each pupil an interest in and the ability to express himself creatively in visual terms, utilizing skills and techniques of artistic expression appropriate to the pupil's interest and abilities; to develop aesthetic understandings and appreciations; to discover critical/appreciative awareness of our environment. Teaches knowledge and skills in art, including crafts, drawing, painting, graphics, sculpture, and environmental design, utilizing course of study adopted by the Board of Trustees, and other appropriate learning activities.
