Primary Responsibilities: -Developing and implementing inspiring fine arts lessons aligned with school curriculum and Waldorf-inspired practices -Creating a warm, inclusive, and creative classroom environment where all students feel successful and encouraged -Integrating artistic processes that support imagination, creativity, and hands-on learning -Teaching proper care and respectful use of art materials and tools -Differentiating instruction to support students with a variety of learning styles and needs -Participating in school festivals, assemblies, and community events that celebrate student learning and artistic expression -Collaborating closely with classroom teachers, staff, and families to support the whole child Skills & Qualifications: -Valid California Teaching Credential appropriate for Fine Arts instruction -Background and professional training in visual or fine arts -Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students -Knowledge of or interest in Waldorf education preferred -Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills -Passion for arts education, creativity, and child-centered learning.
