Ability to use a computer independently and consistently to access job documentation and personal records • Ability to read contrasting colors and correctly identify wire size • Ability to use basic measurement tools such as a scale and ruler (mm, cm, inches) • Ability to perform basic math addition and subtraction • The ability to use hand and power tools safely, efficiently, and with the correct torque applied • Ability to work overtime on occasion depending on business needs • Basic verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand hardware and tool instructions written in English • Translation assistance and reasonable accommodations may be available upon request, but the ability to do so depends on the document complexity and source • Strong attention to detail, general spatial awareness, and quality workmanship • Personal integrity, a drive to learn, a teamwork mentality, and being both safety-focused and customer-focused will set the Assembler I up for success • Ability to use hands to frequently cut, strip, crimp, bend, and terminate a range of wire sizes (22 - 500 MCM AWG) at least 50 of the time • Ability to use hands to frequently utilize hand tools, table-top tools, drills, torque tools, and bandsaw at least 50 of the time • Ability to stand on ones feet or walk averaging 1-2 hours per shift • Ability to lift up to 10-25 lbs.
