Must be 18 years of ageRequires certification by Pennsylvania as one of the following: Mine Examiner, Assistant Mine Foreman, or as a mine foreman for underground Bituminous Coal MinesRequires Pennsylvania Experienced Miner CertificateMust be available to work overtime, weekends and holidays as schedule requiresMust be able to work as scheduled and arrive to the worksite promptly to receive work assignment and prepare for the start of the shiftMust be able to work a shift rotationMust be able to work safely and effectively as a part of a teamMust be able to perform heavy work as defined by the Dictionary of Occupational Titles which may include but not limited to lift, carry, pull/push, climb, shovel, walk, or pry.
