This position will also be responsible for the testing and packaging of completed product. (This position is a temporary position that may last up to 6 months) The shift is Monday through Thursday 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM with Friday's and weekends off.A day on the job may include:<ul><li>Plans assembly procedures, following specifications</li><li>Removes small quantities of metal to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts</li><li>Drills, taps, or reams holes</li><li>Aligns components then bolts, screws, or rivets them together</li><li>Tests or assists in testing operation of completed product</li><li>Set up, assemble, repair, test and package final and sub-assemblies</li><li>Maintain required work quality and output at all work stations and assembly lines</li><li>Perform work in accordance with established requirements</li><li>Operate test equipment to ensure product meets all required test specifications, document and report any</li><li>discrepancies</li><li>Monitor daily quality of assemblies and report all problems/discrepancies</li><li>May be required to train or direct work of co-workers</li><li>Maintain and report inventory accuracy</li><li>Maintain housekeeping and organization of the department and work area</li><li>May be required to sweep area, haul trash and perform minor maintenance of certain pieces of equipment</li><li> Additional duties may be assigned or duties may change at any time</li></ul>This job may be for you if you can:<ul><li>Sit for up to 10 hours a day</li><li>Walk distances</li><li>Frequent, repetitive elbow movements</li><li>Reach, grasp, grip and fine manipulation with hands is required</li></ul>This job may be for you if you have:<ul><li>High School Diploma</li><li>Strong computer skills are required including familiarity with Windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook)</li><li>Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines</li></ul>Extra Awesome:<ul><li>6+ months in a similar position</li></ul> Job Posted by ApplicantPro

You will be responsible for following assembly procedures in accordance to specifications and by using hand and power tools and test equipment. This will involve tasks such as removing small quantities of metal to clean parts or achieve a precise fit between components. You will also be required to drill, tap, or ream holes as necessary.Furthermore, your role will involve aligning various components and securing them together using bolts, screws, or rivets. You will set up, assemble, repair, test, and package final and sub-assemblies.It will be crucial for you to maintain the required work quality and output at all workstations and assembly lines, while adhering to established requirements. You will also operate test equipment to ensure that the product meets all necessary specifications, and promptly document and report any discrepancies. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and reporting inventory accuracy.In addition to your primary tasks, it may be required for you to perform housekeeping and organization duties in the department and work area. This could include sweeping the area, disposing of trash, and performing minor maintenance on certain pieces of equipment. Additional duties may be assigned, or your responsibilities may change over time. Work schedule:This position is full-time Monday through Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm. We have occasional overtime hours on Fridays but most Fridays you will have off work.The Assembler position is seasonal for a period of up to 6 months and employment may be eliminated during that time. There is a possibility that the position may become permanent depending on company need and job performance.
