Key job responsibilities Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers Load and unload shipments and transport parts, racks, and equipment between different locations, including localized driving of a variety of transportation vehicles Attend company provided fork lift operator training Complete company provided training in driving box trucks up to 26' in length Handle sensitive/classified materials Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts Occasionally work is in an office environment Work overtime as required Perform the following tasks: Lift loads of up to 40 pounds and carry them for short distances Participate in group lifts of 41 pounds or more Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance Push or pull heavy objects into position Work in a noisy environment * Stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time About the team AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. They will also be responsible for transporting parts between different locations operating sprinter vans, trucks, or various powered equipment (i.e forklift or electric pallet jack).
