As a part of the Production Team, a Production Assembly Worker will be responsible for all required assemblies and installations on heavy-duty transit buses in the assigned work area on the production line, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

As a part of the Production Team, a Production Assembly Worker will be responsible for all required assemblies and installations on heavy-duty transit buses in the assigned work area on the production line, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.  We are seeking Production Assembly Workers for two different shifts. Schedule1st shift – Monday - Friday 7a-3:30p with the possibility of manned Overtime M-Th until 5:30p and every other Saturday (7am-3:30pm).  2nd shift – Monday -Thursday 3pm-1:30am with the possibility of manned Overtime every other Friday (3pm-11:30pm). WHAT YOU WILL DO<ul><li>Performs all installations and/or assemblies within a specified work area on the production line.</li><li>Prepares work to be accomplished by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.</li><li>Ensures quality and consistency in installations and/or assemblies within a specified work area.</li><li>Be able to work from blueprints, process sheets, and/or written instructions, then build to those specifications while utilizing measurement tools and basic math skills.</li><li>Have working knowledge of hand and air tools. Employee is regularly exposed to vibration, and occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.</li><li>Regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Be able to bend, stoop, and reach.  Be able to climb up and down, as well as work using a ladder.
