The Rogel Cancer Center is one of an elite number of programs across the country designated a comprehensive cancer center by the National Cancer Institute, a recognition of our excellence in collaborative state-of-the-art cancer research that impacts how cancer is prevented, diagnosed and treated. Additional duties include taking vital signs, administering injections, performing EKGs, assisting with basic diagnostic tests and procedures, collecting specimens, maintaining and sterilizing equipment, stocking supplies, preparing exam rooms, and completing related administrative tasks.
