The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating residents, developing individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and collaborating with residents, families, physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Recommend and facilitate the ordering of appropriate durable medical equipment (DME) to promote resident independence and safety, including walkers, canes, splints, elevated toilet seats, grab bars, and other equipment as appropriate.
