The Certified Medical Assistant provides clinical and clerical support such as patient rooming in addition to assistance with medical procedures, cleaning of equipment, chart preparation, obtaining referral notes, images and lab results prior to patient visits. Demonstrates the ability to perform various clerical duties essential to the operations of the practice, including but not limited to, answering phones professionally, greeting patients, filing, faxing and scanning of documents.
