This position is responsible for the oversight of the public sector procurement processes to ensure compliance with IEHP's Procurement, Legal, and Governing Board policies, and State and Federal requirements that govern public sector solicitations, award, and administration of contracts. Current and extensive knowledge of public procurement law, methods, procedures, best practices, including Public Agency contracting principles such as RFP/RFQ preparation, Public Works, contract negotiation, contract law, and basic financial analysis.
