Required Qualifications: Current active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; two years of experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry, including neuro experience; recent EPIC charting experience. Additional Information: The nurse will manage a variety of clinical responsibilities including neuro assessments, dysphagia screening, IV medication titration, blood and blood product administration, venipuncture, blood cultures, NG tubes, drain management, and medication infusions.
