Essential Job Functions:Comply with operating procedures and safely operate clean in place (CIP) milk bulk tank wash systemsClean hoses, buckets and carts, hand rail of ladder, wash bay floor, around tanks, and handwashing sinkRespond promptly to any spills or accidents, cleaning and sanitizing affected areasOrganize and store a variety of supplies, tools, and hoses in designated areasUse appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to sanitize surfaces, control panels, and equipment within the CIP control roomUse proper instrumentation during each step of the CIP Cycle, including rinsingPerform regular cleaning and sanitizing of caustic tanks, fresh water tanks, and reclaim tanksComplete confined space assessment for every tanker that is entered. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required for extended periods to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, ladders, walk on catwalk, balance, stoop, kneel, lift, crouch or crawl, ability to enter and exit confined spaces through limited openings.
