<h1>Internal Auditor</h1>  REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President of Operations   SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: Under the direction and supervision of the Senior Vice President of Operations, ensure the credit union is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Assists external auditors and examiners. Supervisory Responsibilities:  None Duties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. May perform any of the following duties and responsibilities: <ul><li>Ensure the credit union is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. </li><li>Assists external auditors and examiners. </li><li>Communicates with Supervisory Committee and helps resolve escalated member issues. </li><li>Maintains procedure manuals. </li><li>Audits consumer loan, mortgage loan, and business loan files for adherence to lending policy. </li><li>Audits deposit accounts for adherence to policy and procedures. </li><li>Assists with the resolution of audit exam findings within area of responsibility. </li><li>Conducts file maintenance review. </li><li>Monitors and communicates changes in regulations affecting the credit union. </li><li>Ensures the audit process will stand up to outside scrutiny. </li><li>Ensures printed materials are in compliance. </li><li>Prepares written reports on internal audit reviews including findings, analyses, conclusions, and recommended actions. </li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Job Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.  <ul><li>Conduct regular audit procedures and activities for all credit union branches and departments and for all accounting, operation, and loan procedures.</li><li>Conduct independent audits and examinations of credit union records to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.</li><li>Review examination reports stating findings of the audit and report them to upper management.</li><li>Assist in the implementation of new or revised internal audit policies, methods, and procedures.</li><li>Make recommendations to revise electronic systems and procedures to comply with State and</li><li>Federal regulations.</li><li>Prepare written reports on internal audit reviews, including findings, assessment, conclusions, and recommended actions.</li><li>Ensure that audit processes will stand up to outside scrutiny.</li></ul>Education & Qualifications: <ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent required. Some related college courses are required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Position: Night AuditorLocation: Candlewood Suites Hattiesburg, MS<h2>Position Summary</h2>A Night Auditor is a dual-role hotel professional responsible for overseeing overnight front desk operations while completing the property's end-of-day financial processes. This position combines guest service and accounting responsibilities to support smooth, accurate, and secure hotel operations throughout the night. Key duties include checking in late-arriving guests, answering phones, addressing guest needs, balancing daily accounts, reconciling financial transactions, and preparing audit reports for management.
