It requires hands-on skills learned from repairing equipment, machining, fabrication, troubleshooting, assembly, etc. These skills are ideal for helping us build the custom automation equipment that we design. Working with our engineers and other technicians to help us create our custom automation equipment. This role involves helping our team assemble, wire, plumb, test run, troubleshoot and repair custom designed automation equipment. The automation equipment we design incorporates high tech systems such as robots, lasers, dial indexers, pick and place mechanisms, automatic feeders, automatic packaging, induction heating, machining, sawing, welding, forming, pressing, and most anything we can dream up. A Day in The Life Work alongside automation engineers and technicians to interpret our designs and to then help bring the designs to life. Study specifications such as viewing our models in SolidWorks, viewing drawings, sketches, models, or descriptions to be able to move forward with the building of the automation equipment. Manages projects including organization and cleaning. Able to organize the incoming materials from our machine shop and our outside vendors for the various projects assigned to the position. Calculates dimensions, plans layout, and determines assembly method for putting together the various components of the automation. Able to verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances. Lifts machine parts and positions and secures parts on surface plate or worktable. Fits and assembles parts together into assemblies and mechanisms. Able to wire and plumb machines with the guidance of our engineers or technicians. Setup use and troubleshoot basic automation electronics such as sensors, VFDs etc. Some experience with setting up and operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machine and welding equipment to machine or fabricate parts. Able to verify conformance of machined parts to specifications. Willingness to attend training to expand knowledge of current programming language and machine maintenance, Ex. Basic Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and various PLC Robotic coding. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by aligning the Pharmacy Services Program to provide customer-focused support emphasizing quality, professionalism and responsiveness, by acting as liaison between OMCL and customer to assist with customer concerns. The Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 will prepare and maintain the Omnicell IV automated equipment for daily use, perform advanced equipment troubleshooting, maintain optimal medication inventory levels, review / maintain reports.

Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 (IV Compounding) The Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 will be responsible for maintaining all unit-dose medications required for daily dispensing from the Omnicell automated IV equipment. The Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 will prepare and maintain the Omnicell IV automated equipment for daily use, perform advanced equipment troubleshooting, maintain optimal medication inventory levels, review / maintain reports. The Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 will engage with various levels of customer service by identifying and addressing any customer concerns and report to the Pharmacy Services Manager. Responsibilities + Perform IV automation tasks in an aseptic, error free manner, consistent with prescribed guidelines. + Perform IV automation equipment cleaning and maintenance. + Follow Safe Handling of Hazardous Drugs procedures when handling medications. + Responsible for identifying/ordering medications to ensure medication inventories are at optimal levels. + Responsible for monitoring and ordering consumable supplies required for the operation of the equipment. + Responsible for performing advanced troubleshooting and prescribed maintenance of IV automation equipment and reporting unresolved equipment issues to the IV HD. + Maintain a high level of communication with pharmacy services manager and customer, to ensure proactive, solution-oriented problem identification and resolution. + Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by aligning the Pharmacy Services Program to provide customer-focused support emphasizing quality, professionalism and responsiveness, by acting as liaison between OMCL and customer to assist with customer concerns. + Comply with IV Compounding procedures, policies and guidelines established by the Customer facility. + Complete negative fingertip and media fill sampling. + Maintain state and/or national credentialing to meet established guidelines. Required Knowledge and Skills + Good organizational skills, accurate, reliable and efficient. + Demonstrated customer-facing skills. + Strong interpersonal, communications and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work with mechanical equipment. + Working knowledge of computer hardware, PC Windows. Basic Qualifications + High school diploma or GED + Active National Pharmacy Technician Certificate (PTCB / through NHA, a CPhT / EXCPT) + Active State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration from the New Hampshire State Board of Pharmacy (if required) + Working knowledge / Familiarity of IV compounding Preferred Knowledge and Skills + Advanced Troubleshooting Skills with automation devices + SME for Pharmacy Services department + One year of IV Compounding experience + Knowledge of safe handling of hazardous medications + Proficient in the use of PPE and hand hygiene techniques + Working knowledge of sterile environment requirement + Working knowledge of pharmacy automation Work Conditions + Able to daily commute to work at this site: 1 Medical Center Dr. Lebanon, NH 03766 + Shift: M -F, 6 am to 2:30 pm (may subject to change). Omnicell does offer shift differential policy. + Pharmacy environment. + Capable of standing for several hours at a time. + Potential exposure to hazardous drugs. + Able to lift 25–30 lbs.
