Assists in building customer sales, providing superior customer service, stocking shelves, bagging groceries, carrying out orders for customers, and maintaining store conditions up to NuNuâ€s standards.  Dependable, punctual, good work habits, detail oriented, and a high energy level.  Must maintain a clean and presentable appearance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Greets all customers with a smile and a pleasant attitude.</li><li>Maintains product quality.</li><li>Understands and complies with all safety and sanitation guidelines of NuNuâ€s.</li><li>Responsible for keeping grocery, dairy, and frozen shelves stocked, properly rotated, and fronted.</li><li>Brings customer orders to cars.</li><li>Properly bags grocery orders.</li><li>Keeps retail store area and warehouse area clean and safe.</li><li>Knowledge of items in store and able to answer customer inquiries or direct them to the proper department supervisor or store manager or assistant manager</li><li>Performs a high level of customer service at all time.</li><li>Communicates with customers in a professional manner.</li><li>Performs all other duties as needed and required. </li></ul>   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities <ul><li>Must have excellent communication skills, polite, and friendly.</li><li>Able to comply with NuNuâ€s sanitation and safety standards.</li><li>Able to lift and carry a minimum of 70 lbs.</li><li>Able to properly unload, store, and rotate merchandise.</li><li>Able to properly bag groceries and bring to customersâ€ cars.</li><li>Able to work in temperatures below 30 degrees for long periods of time.</li><li>Able to sweep and mop.</li><li>Able to use repetitive motion with hands and arms.</li><li>Able to operate pallet jack and cardboard baler.</li><li>Skill in reading and math.</li><li>Ability to understand and comply with NuNuâ€s policies and procedures.</li><li>Ability to multi task and follow instructions.</li><li>Customer service skills required.</li><li>Ability to work well with different personalities.</li><li>Ability to work under stressful situations.</li><li>Able to bend, stoop, and climb ladders.</li><li>Able to stand for long periods of time.</li><li>Able to work various shifts including weekends. </li></ul>
