Responsibilities: Coaching the Teller staff to capitalize on cross-selling opportunities, and the process of referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen customer relationships and strengthen internal partnerships. Provide operational assistance to the Branch Manager, Branch Officer, Senior Branch Manager, or Regional Branch Manager.

<h1>Position Title: Teller Supervisor</h1><h2>Reports To: Branch Manager</h2><h2>General Purpose:</h2><p>The primary function for the Teller Supervisor is to oversee the operational effectiveness of the Teller line. This is accomplished through coaching and developing Teller staff, and overall support of the Teller function.  </p><h2>Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Coaching the Teller staff to capitalize on cross-selling opportunities, and the process of referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen customer relationships and strengthen internal partnerships.</li><li>Maintaining knowledge and educating team on all products, services, technology and policies.</li><li>Managing the operations of the Teller line and ensuring adherence to all operations, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.</li><li>Pursues personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for this position.</li><li>Assits with hiring, supervising, motivating, , and communicating with Teller</li><li>Deals with customer correspondence, complaints and inquiries.</li><li>May manage a Teller line as the only Supervisor, or may operate as a larger team in multiple locations.</li><li>Provide operational assistance to the Branch Manager, Branch Officer, Senior Branch Manager, or Regional Branch Manager.</li><li>Operate a Teller drawer. Understand how to process deposits, withdrawals, take loan payments, and how to examine checks for proper acceptance within established procedures.</li><li>Assist customer with opening new accounts, as needed.</li><li>Leader and role model to the Teller line.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications:.</h2><ul><li>Understanding of Teller processes and new account concepts</li><li>Shows an insight and interest into continued development of their banking career</li><li>Displays leadership and effectively works with others</li><li>Ability to work independently with little oversight</li><li>Comfortable leading staff</li></ul><h2>Education/Experience</h2><ul><li>Two years of banking required</li><li>High School Diploma is required</li><li>Associates degree or higher preferred</li></ul><h2>Skills</h2><ul><li>Effective communication ability both verbal and written  </li><li>Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Basic understanding of Microsoft products - Word, Outlook, and Excel</li><li>Positive, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality</li><li>Ability to problem solve and find solutions</li><li>Highly develop commitment to customer satisfaction</li></ul><p> </p><p>Isabella Bank is an AA/EEO employer.</p>
