Provides timely and courteous service to all branch members, and assists them with financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, sale or processing of negotiable instruments, etc.

Overview:
<p style="margin:0px">The <strong>Branch Teller I (or II)</strong> is responsible for assisting members in the completion of financial transactions, such as deposits and withdrawals, and other related transactions. Knowledgeably addressing member concerns and questions as well as identifying opportunities for cross-selling services and products. Also generates referrals to business partners accordingly.</p>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Supports the achievement of unit sales goals by identifying opportunities for the cross-selling of Credit Union products and services, and referring members to the appropriate business partners.</li><li>Provides timely and courteous service to all branch members, and assists them with financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, sale or processing of negotiable instruments, etc. Processes branch member transactions efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner including servicing accounts, closing accounts, or completing related documentation.</li><li>Responds to member inquiries in person, by telephone, or by mail. Resolves routine issues and directs complex issues to the appropriate management staff member.</li><li>Participates in all assigned employee development programs in support of the Credit Union's commitment to excellence in sales and service, continuous improvement, quality, and teamwork.</li><li>Balances daily work.</li><li>Performs all operational activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations (Regulation CC, Bank Secrecy Act, etc.), and Credit Union policies and procedures.</li><li>Performs routine office and clerical duties such as: requisitioning supplies and maintaining accurate, current files.</li><li>Maintains cash drawer in accordance with assigned cash limits and policy and procedures.</li><li>Must consistently report to work on time, as scheduled.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned.</li><li>Must be flexible to work out of any location at any time, as business needs dictate.</li></ul><p style="margin:0px"> </p><p style="margin:0px"><strong>Branch Hours</strong></p><ul><li>Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM </li><li>Friday:  9:00 AM to 6:00 PM</li><li>Saturday: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<div><strong>Education</strong></div><div> </div><div><p style="margin:0px">High School or GED</p><p style="margin:0px"> </p></div><div> </div><div><strong>Experience</strong></div><div> </div><p style="margin:0px">Must have at least 1 year to 24 months of customer service and/or cash handling experience </p><div><div> </div><div> </div><div><strong>Knowledge, Skills & Ability</strong></div><ul><li>Must a working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of office products; Outlook, Word & Excel.</li><li>Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.</li><li>Must have a demonstrated ability to deliver consistently superior customer service.</li><li>Recent cash handling or previous teller experience preferred.
