Overview:
<p style="margin:0px">The Barback is responsible for helping the bartender in the daily operation of the bar.</p>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.</li><li>Be responsible for receiving all liquor, beer and wine from storeroom in a daily basis.</li><li>Maintain the cleanliness of the bar, refrigerators, and service areas of the bar in an organized manner.</li><li>Replenish all liquor, beer and wine as needed in the bar during the shift.</li><li>Be familiar with beverages, cocktails and hotel mixing portion control according to hotel standards.</li><li>Assist in opening and closing side-work as assigned.</li><li>Assist in ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas.</li><li>Assist with maintaining beverage cost.</li><li>Follow prescribed procedures in serving alcohol with care to avoid any challenges with intoxicated guests.</li><li>Retrieve all food items from kitchen and deliver to customers according to proper service standards.</li><li>Ensure overall guest satisfaction.</li></ul>

<div><strong>About the Job:</strong></div><div><strong>Lounge Barback American Express Centurion Lounge<br/>Pay Rate: </strong>$15-$17/hr</div><div><br/><strong>PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING:<br/></strong>All candidates must have full weekend availability and undergo a mandatory background check for consideration.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>Position Summary:<br/></strong>The Bar Back/Beverage Attendant will complete opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies. Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables. Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas, bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools following all set-up guidelines. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.<br/><br/><strong>General Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.</li><li>Checks and assists bartender in maintaining adequate amounts of supplies, i.e., stir sticks, napkins, glassware, etc. May replace and perform routine maintenance requirements on heavy beer kegs.</li><li>Prepares fresh garnishes for drinks.
