We utilize a diverse array of methodologies in our research, including advanced techniques such as Cryo-EM, next-generation sequencing (Illumina sequencing), high-throughput screening, in vitro biochemical assays, and bacterial genetics. A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Xinyun (Sherry) Cao, in the Microbiology Department at UT Southwestern Medical Center to study how the transcription complex regulates gene expression in bacteria.
