official in the Department of Environmental Protection, plans, organizes, coordinates, performs, and supervises work relating to the development, presentation, and implementation of various educational and training programs dealing with the biological aspects and management of the State’s fish and wildlife resources and its users; supervises staff and work activities; prepares and signs official performance evaluations for subordinate staff; does other related duties as required. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in the principles, practices, laws and regulations related to recreational hunting, shooting and trapping in New Jersey; be skilled in the use of hunting equipment and tools to include various firearms and ammunition, and have a working knowledge of the agency's licensing system.
