As a(an) Respiratory Student Extern with TriStar Centennial Medical Center you can be a part of an organization that is devoted to giving back!<h5>Job Summary and Qualifications</h5><h6></h6><h5>The Respiratory Therapy Assistant is an equipment and inventory technician who cleans, monitors, and maintains all routine respiratory care equipment through out the hospital, including medical oxygen supply. He/She must utilize technical clinical thinking for assisting therapists to meet the needs of patients. The Respiratory Therapy Assistant promotes customer service initiatives.What you will do in this role:<ul><li>Perform daily equipment processing of all respiratory equipment: Disassemble process, clean, assemble, and test all respiratory equipment according to department policies and procedures. </li><li>Responsible for ordering, stocking, and maintaining respiratory supplies/equipment using LEAN process within the Respiratory Care Department and to patient care areas, this includes rental equipment. </li><li>Assist in performing inventory of department equipment and supplies, counts supplies with 100% accuracy. </li><li>Provides and maintains an adequate inventory of all oxygen gas cylinders in department storage areas and on all patient care areas. </li><li>Provide assistance to Respiratory Care Practitioners, as necessary, according to department policies and procedures. </li><li>Identify and retrieve all electrical equipment due for calibration and regular preventative maintenance and delivers to Biomedical Engineering department on a scheduled basis. </li><li>Assist in maintaining a clean work area in the department: assure that all supplies are neatly stored and the work area is cleared of hazards 100% of time. </li></ul></h5><h6>What qualifications you will need:</h6><h5><ul><li>High School Graduate / GED</li><li>Current respiratory student within one year of graduation</li><li>Ability to work on a part time basis</li></ul>Benefits</h5>TriStar Centennial Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues. Responsibilities: The Field Service Technician will perform repairs and maintenance of Hamilton Medical ventilation products in a field service capacity in support of the Missouri, Arkansas, East Tennessee territory. Education/Experience: Associate degree required in Electronics, Biomedical Electronics Technology, or certificate from accredited electronics school or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
The Field Service Technician will perform repairs and maintenance of Hamilton Medical ventilation products in a field service capacity in support of the Missouri, Arkansas, East Tennessee territory. The ideal candidate will reside near or in Memphis, TN., or St. Louis, MO. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>New equipment installation.</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair Hamilton equipment.</li><li>Report problems and perform root cause analysis on instrument failures.</li><li>Sales are a vital part of this position.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Ability to interface and communicate well with customers.</li><li>Ability to train non-technical personnel on highly technical material. </li><li>Ability and willingness to work in a safety conscious manner.</li></ul>

Education/Experience:
<ul><li>Associate degree required in Electronics, Biomedical Electronics Technology, or certificate from accredited electronics school or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. </li><li>Previous hospital, bio-medical, or field service experience and basic understanding of ventilation is preferred. </li><li>Basic understanding of ventilation is strongly preferred.</li><li>Position requires exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.</li><li>Position requires travel.</li></ul>
