Knowledge and ability in maintaining and repairing natural gas and diesel engines which includes full engine tear down, inspection and rebuild, spill timing and installation of injection pumps, rebuilding injectors, turbo replacement, web deflection, etc. Under the direction of the Power Plant Mechanic Operator Supervisor, this position maintains, operates, and repairs municipal generation equipment, along with dispatching and performing switching procedures for the City power and water utilities.
