Responsibilities The Facilities Specialist will be reportable to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor and their primary responsibilities will be accomplished through the following tasks: Performing building maintenance and repairs including roofing, plumbing, painting, light carpentry, and other structural or system-related tasksMaintaining the overall physical appearance and upkeep of the siteCollaborating with multi-craft teams, assisting scaffolding and insulation teams as neededExecuting civil and contract work as directed by engineeringOperating shop machines, such as drill presses and sawsUtilizing SAP to manage work orders, parts, and materialsSupporting planning and scheduling activities during routine operations and shutdownsServing on the plant ERT (Emergency Response Team)All other duties assigned Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma / GEDMust have a valid driver's licenseMust have 3+ years' experience as a facilities specialist in an industrial manufacturing facilityCivil/Concrete experience is a plusMust be able to multi-task, complete work orders in a timely manner, be driven, stay on taskMust have a good knowledge of building maintenance and operations functionsMust have the ability to set up, adjust, and safely operate drill press, wood saws, and various pneumatic and electric toolsThe ability to read blueprints, sketches, specifications, written, and verbal instructions is requiredMust have basic math skills, able to convert decimals to fractions, and use all units of measureMust be able to read a tape measure and square to 1/32"Must be able to work overtime, to include nights and weekends, when needed in order to meet production deadlinesMust be able to physically meet job requirements; standing, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
