As part of the monthly accounting close, prepare journal entries, analyze results and prepare general ledger reconciliation schedules by reviewing general ledger activity and obtaining a full understanding of the account activity to support month-end reported balances to ensure financial statements are complete, accurate and in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
