Distinguishing Characteristics <ul style="text-align:left"><li>The operator works under the supervision of the Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC) Supervisor and monitors calls for services as they come to the attention of the San Juan County Emergency Communications Center. </li><li>The operator works with various surveillance camera systems, investigative software platforms, and radio technology. </li><li>During the response and early investigative stages of a call for service, the operator provides information to the first responders and Communications dispatchers related to crime and crime in progress. </li><li>The operator works rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. </li></ul>Essential Duties<ul style="text-align:left"><li>Demonstrates strong attention to detail in locating addresses, nearby video assets, and associated call-related data during a call for service. </li><li>Simultaneously listens to public safety radio transmissions, monitors calls for service on Computer Aided Dispatch screens, and views selected public-private video assets. </li><li>Observes, detects, and appropriately reports to dispatchers and responding officers elements of crime that are observed through video streams. The Project Manager must possess the knowledge, experience, licenses, and ability to work with new and/or developed customers to determine business and operational needs and opportunities for Pillar Innovations and to provide continuous improvements and efficiencies for its’ customers. The position must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes travel, out-of-town work, weekends, extended hours, and call-out work. The Project Manager will report to the Business Development Manager and will work primarily out of the Farmington location. <h2>What You'll Do</h2><ul><li>Provide development and oversight of project scope, purchasing, goals, scheduling, budgets, risk management, and resource management to ensure that jobs are on-time, on-budget, and meet code requirements and customer expectations</li><li> Coordinate with inspectors and other trades to ensure that work plans and quality standards are met</li><li>Coordinate with Accounting for work orders, job numbers, and billing processes</li><li> Provide management with fiscal reporting and updates as required</li><li>Create and review proposals, bill of materials, and job costing</li><li> Provide management with information, forecasts, and suggestions on methods to improve the profitability of the Department</li><li>Review and complete work in progress (WIP) reports</li><li>Communicate personnel, equipment, and supply needs to the Manager</li><li> Manage and direct project team members through effective coaching and project coordination</li><li>Provide paperwork and documentation for accurate record keeping, billing, and inventory</li><li> Ensure proper communication to Division Manager on all pertinent issues</li><li> Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers and cultivate customer relations to identify sales opportunities</li><li> Identify potential problems and provide effective solutions and problem-resolution</li><li>Coordinate and assist other trades and disciplines throughout the company as needed</li><li>Participate in post project reviews to identify future areas for project improvement</li></ul> Other DutiesThis job posting is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required for this position.  Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.<h2>What You'll Bring</h2><ul><li>Strong preference for candidates with 5+ years of management experience in the Industrial Electrical industry </li><li>Degree or Certification in Electrical discipline or Business Administration required or an equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li>5 years of electrical field experience preferred</li><li>Master Electrical License in at least one state preferred</li><li>Strong knowledge of safety and construction regulations</li><li>Strong mechanical and civil knowledge preferred</li><li>Possess excellent networking skills</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot on-the-job issues effectively and efficiently</li><li>Must possess the knowledge, experience, and ability to make sound business decisions that result in value to the customer and growth for the company</li><li>Proficient in organizational skills with high level of attention to detail</li><li>Skillful in imparting information</li><li>Demonstrated ability to excel under pressure and meet budget and deadlines</li><li>Possess strong computer skills that would include the Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Skilled in schedule development/management including Microsoft Project or Primavera P6</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing</li><li>Ability to represent Pillar Innovations in a professional, competent, and courteous manner</li><li>Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to accomplish common goals</li><li>Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision or review</li><li>Must be able to effectively adapt to ever-changing and ever-emerging customer needs</li></ul> Working Conditions<ul><li>Sit, talk, hear, read, write and type</li><li> Walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms</li><li>Lift and/or move up to 35 pounds</li><li> Perform duties on-site at industrial locations</li><li>Work at heights</li><li> Work in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment with flexibility and motivation</li><li>Work in harsh weather conditions as needed</li></ul> Additional Eligibility QualificationsThis position requires the completion of a thorough background and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
