Ability to perform maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment, operate equipment, hand and power tools, and vehicles skillfully and safely, establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, operate communication devices and office equipment including a cell phone, radio, and personal computer, learn and retain specific and general information about facilities, equipment, functions, and projects, sit; stand with movement; walk; bend/stoop; crawl; climb; reach at, above and below shoulder-level; crouch; kneel; lift; carry; and push and pull effectively work independently and around/with other university staff, contractors and the public, work inside and outside in all weather conditions such as the cold (less than 50°F), heat (greater than 90°F), wet and/or humid environments and subject to various noise levels, work at high elevations and/or on wet/slippery surfaces.
