For Emergency Room Registration: Confirms patient identification, checks patient's in upon their arrival per the patients' symptom protocol, collaborate with ER clinical team members and EMS services, collect and complete necessary admission documents and forms, complete direct admits, and check-in outpatient visits for non-ED patients as needed. For Switchboard Operator: Answer all incoming calls in a pleasant and professional manner, transfer calls accordingly, page the following: departments, nursing administrator and on-call personnel as needed, and communicate and report emergency information in a timely manner to avoid delay in patient care/employee safety.
