Overview:
<p style="margin:0px">A large private family is seeking a top-notch houseman/grounds-person for their large estate in Greenwich, CT. The schedule will generally be Monday through Friday, but when the principals are present the position will require flexibility for weekends and longer hours as needed. The family also spends time during the summer in Saratoga Springs, NY and you will need to be present at that residence during the season (July and August).</p>

Responsibilities:
<p style="margin:0px">Job duties will include all aspects of care for the estate, including keeping of the grounds, maintenance, upkeep of outdoor areas, and more.</p><ul><li>Monitoring the home for necessary repairs and upkeep- performing light maintenance </li><li>Hiring and supervising vendors</li><li>Driving the family as needed </li><li>Providing service during events and family gatherings- this is a large nuclear family and they visit often. They are looking for someone family oriented and kind.</li><li>Work with existing staff to keep the home in running order this could mean refilling fridges with water, ordering groceries, running to the store, overseeing the housekeeper, or helping the housekeeper. </li><li>Keep house stocked with household products </li><li>Travel to Saratoga Springs during the summer and help make sure the home is running and the family has what they need during the season.</li><li>This is is a all in hands on role and the family is looking for someone whose ready to be involved. </li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>The ideal candidate will be seasoned in domestic staffing and will have worked in luxury homes and on large estates.</li><li>The family is seeking a candidate who works well with a team and has a strong work ethic. </li><li>Team player- the family has a solid existing staff structure</li><li>Self-starter who takes initiative </li><li>Discreet and polished </li><li>Safe and confident driver in the city </li><li>"No job is too big or too small" attitude </li></ul>

Requirements:
<ul><li>Valid drivers license </li><li>Local to Greenwich CT</li><li>Ability to spend some nights in Saratoga Springs during the summer ( please do not apply if you cant travel from July-August). </li><li>Incredible attitude and love for people and your job</li></ul>

Salary and Benefits:
<ul><li>Salary DOE $150k and includes health insurance, benefits and bonus</li></ul>
