A busy and kind family of four is seeking a fantastic house manager/butler to help them oversee their home in the West Village. The schedule for this role will generally be Monday through Friday, full-time hours, with some flexibility for events occurring during evenings and weekends. This position is set up to be live-out, but the family is willing to provide separate living accommodations for the ideal person. This position involves aspects of management, including overseeing some household staff and outside vendors, and also includes duties related to hospitality, including greeting guests and providing service at events and parties. 

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Supervising and overseeing housekeeping staff, including assisting with heavy lifting as needed</li><li>Five-star level service and hospitality</li><li>Anticipate principal/guests' needs</li><li>Consistently ensuring the highest level of service is provided</li><li>Greeting guests and acting as front-of-house </li><li>Providing service during events and parties</li><li>Monitoring the home for necessary repairs and upkeep- performing light maintenance </li><li>Hiring and supervising vendors</li><li>Work with existing staff to keep the home in running order</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Team player- the family has a solid existing staff structure</li><li>Self-starter who takes initiative </li><li>Discreet and polished </li><li>Kind and joyful presence</li><li>"No job is too big or too small" attitude </li></ul>

Requirements:
<ul><li>US work authorization</li><li>Available to start ASAP</li><li>Spanish speaker is preferred</li><li>Formal dining and wine service knowledge</li><li>Experience with service and comfortable with interacting with both vendors and guests</li></ul>

Salary and Benefits:

A large private family is seeking a top-notch houseman/grounds-person for their large estate in Greenwich, CT. The schedule will generally be Monday through Friday, but when the principals are present the position will require flexibility for weekends and longer hours as needed. The family also spends time during the summer in Saratoga Springs, NY and you will need to be present at that residence during the season (July and August).

Responsibilities:
Job duties will include all aspects of care for the estate, including keeping of the grounds, maintenance, upkeep of outdoor areas, and more.<ul><li>Monitoring the home for necessary repairs and upkeep- performing light maintenance </li><li>Hiring and supervising vendors</li><li>Driving the family as needed </li><li>Providing service during events and family gatherings- this is a large nuclear family and they visit often. They are looking for someone family oriented and kind.</li><li>Work with existing staff to keep the home in running order this could mean refilling fridges with water, ordering groceries, running to the store, overseeing the housekeeper, or helping the housekeeper. </li><li>Keep house stocked with household products </li><li>Travel to Saratoga Springs during the summer and help make sure the home is running and the family has what they need during the season.</li><li>This is is a all in hands on role and the family is looking for someone whose ready to be involved. </li></ul>
